According to Leatrice, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, "The desire for tranquility, strength, and optimisim have inspired a Fall 2016 color palette that is led by the Blue Family, along with anchoring earth tones and exuberant pops of vibrant colors."
"Transcending gender, these unexpectedly vivacious colors in the Fall 2016 palette act as playful but structered departures from your more typical fall shades", said Leatrice Eiseman. Eisemen also went to say, "Blue skies represent constancy as they are always above us; Grays give a feeling of stability, reds invite confidence and warmth, while pinkish purples and Spicy Mustard Yellow suggests a touch of the exotic."
